Listen to me!
Ngilalele means “listen to me” in isiZulu and that’s exactly what this programme is all about: giving young people the space, skills, and self-belief to speak up and be heard.
Delivered in Grades 8 and 9, Ngilalele uses storytelling, presentation, and cultural pride to build confidence, public speaking skills, and connection to their identity. Many participants say it’s the first time they’ve truly been listened to.
